Empowering Equestrian Professionals
A place for equine professionals to get advice, tools, systems, and general support. With tailored solutions and a personal touch, every step of the way, We’re here to help.
Who We Are
Horses have been the center of my professional life for over 15 years, and everything I know about business, leadership, and operations has been shaped by working in the equine industry every single day. With a background in business management and over a decade of running my own successful training program, I understand exactly how demanding — and how rewarding — this world can be.
Over the years, other professionals began coming to me for guidance — not just about training, but about systems, structure, staffing, communication, pricing, and the everyday operational decisions that can make or break an equine business. That’s where my consulting work began: helping barn owners, trainers, and service providers run their businesses with more clarity, stability, and intentionality.
My approach is rooted in a belief in thinking outside of the box for how to solve problems within the equine business. Understanding how equine operations function and applying my background in business management. I blend business management strategy with years of real-world equestrian experience, offering support that’s honest, realistic, and genuinely useful. Clients appreciate that I see the operational details others miss — and that I understand both the horses and the humans involved.
If you’re looking for guidance from someone who has lived the equine business from the inside — someone who understands the pressure, the passion, the logistics, and the long days — I can help you build a business that’s sustainable, organized, and structured for long-term success.

This is industry-specific consulting from someone who has actually run a training business for over a decade.
This isn’t generic business advice. This is horse industry reality:
What actually happens when clients are late paying.
What happens when someone threatens legal action.
How to structure training programs and billing processes that actually work.
How to protect yourself without damaging relationships.
This is practical, experience-based guidance
-
Yes. Completely.
One of the biggest reasons I created this business is because trainers often don’t feel safe asking peers for advice. There’s always the concern about judgment, reputation, or client relationships.
My role is neutral support. Conversations stay private, and my goal is simply to help you operate more confidently and professionally.
-
No. Some people just need help solving one problem, and others want ongoing consultation and support.
I offer both one-time consulting and ongoing programs depending on what you need. Some clients just want help reviewing contracts or solving a situation. Others want a long-term partner they can call when things come up.
-
I built and operated a successful training and sales program for over 14 years, starting from scratch without major connections. During that time I learned—often the hard way—how to build systems, protect a business, manage clients, and grow sustainably. All while going to school for business management.
Along the way I also worked with attorneys, industry professionals, and high-level programs that helped shape how I approach structure and risk management.
Most importantly, I understand what it's like to be in the position of figuring it out alone. This business exists to make sure other trainers don’t have to.
Testimonials
“Advance Equine Consulting really helped me change my unsustainable business to a remunerative model with simple solutions I had never been exposed to.
In every effort to keep horse show costs down for my clients, I was hemorrhaging money faster than I was earning, bordering on burnout, and struggling with client communication. In one session, she taught me standard billing practices that enabled me to actually profit after the shows instead of my business funding my client's horse show. Additionally, AEC has been a terrific sounding board for my client communications. She reviews my emails and client communication and assists with proper tone and wording to help get my point across in a positive manner. Also a solid shoulder to lean (screaming crying) into when you inevitably need one without judgement. I highly recommend this service for any newer equine businesses; as well as established ones that might need a refresher.”

“As a young professional starting out, Advantage Equine Consulting has been my go to sounding board when it comes to shows and communication with clients. Since I did not have a lot of experience in the competitive world, there was a lot for me to learn. AEC taught me how to manage my set up organization, the office, ring timing, and how to communicate with the grooms and clients at the show. She has also helped me build connections with grooms, braiders, and other trainers. Having access to all of this through AEC has allowed me to build confidence in and out of the show ring and has helped me create an environment that our clients love. Apart from horse shows, AEC helped me personally with the purchase of my horse. She took the lead on all negotiations and communications with the seller, leading to an outcome that satisfied all parties, as well as drew up a clear contract for me. I greatly recommend these services for all, especially young professionals looking for someone who knows the ins and outs of the horse industry.”
-Kate Richardson, Assistant Trainer, Victoria Dye Equestrian
My first experience with Rosy was when I bought a horse from her in 2018. When I went to try him, I asked, “What kind of job do you think this horse wants?” She replied, “He wants to be part of a program—he wants a job.”
She was absolutely right. He became one of my most popular school horses, participating in lessons, camps, horse shows, and IEA competitions. He even traveled to a Stanford IEA show, where he was a favorite. Eventually, he sold to someone within my program who loved him deeply, and he’ll now live out his days happily on a ranch.
This experience speaks to one of Rosy’s greatest talents: her ability to match a horse with the right job—one that the horse will genuinely enjoy. Happy horses are essential to any successful program.
People often compliment me on the quality of my school horses, many of which have been sourced by Rosy. I firmly believe that matching horses appropriately to their roles is key to the success of any program, whether it’s a lesson barn or a rated show operation.
Over the years, Rosy has done more than help me find horses—she has also played a major role in developing the show team aspect of my program. She mentored my assistant, teaching her everything from organizing the show schedule and preparing horses correctly to coaching effectively at competitions. Thanks in part to Rosy’s guidance, our program is now enjoying more success than ever.
Rosy has sourced several horses for our show team, and her extensive network within the equine industry allows her to connect riders with the right partners. Whether it’s an adult amateur with modest goals or a young rider aiming for bigger jumps, Rosy makes the horse-shopping process both successful and enjoyable. We currently have four horses in our show program sourced by Rosy, and each one is an exceptional match for their rider.
On a personal level, Rosy has been an invaluable sounding board and has helped me grow my business in countless ways. She genuinely cares about the horses, the riders, and her fellow professionals. As she often says, “I’m here to support you”—and she truly means it.
I highly recommend working with Rosy. You can expect quality horses, strong partnerships, and a supportive, knowledgeable professional by your side.
